Hello

I am passionate about supporting others on their journey of personal or professional expansion. I have a unique knack for connecting with and understanding people of all walks of life, ensuring each person I speak to feels seen, heard and appreciated. I believe my job as a therapist, mental health trainer and supervisor is to facilitate inner exploration and acceptance, as well as provide perspective, guidance and support.

My Story

I am a hispanic American who traded the sunny beaches of Miami, Florida for the green rolling hills of the UK. My early career path led me to the corporate world of recruitment and insurance. However, I was very happy to give it up to raise my 3 beautiful children. It was the blessing of parenthood that awakened me from the state of  "autopilot" I was living in. The pressures of caring for others highlighted my emotional reactivity and the limiting patterns of thinking and behaviour that affected me.  That is when I began to explore my inner landscape.

My growing self-awareness led me to retrain as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. The more I learned about trauma and the subconscious mind, the more I understood that accessing and processing difficult emotions were the key to changing core beliefs, recalcitrant thought patterns and behaviours, as well as alleviating physical illnesses.  Later, when my daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) I learned first hand about the challenges neurodivergent people face on a daily basis and the parental struggles that come with supporting a neurodivergent child.  During this time, I came to realise that I too was neurodivergent (ADD and Dyslexia) positively shifting my view of self and opening me up to self-acceptance and self-compassion. Since that time,  I have devoted myself to therapeutically supporting neurodivergent individuals and parents of neurodiverse children, as well as raising awareness in workplaces.

I have been a therapist for almost 10 years now, working virtually by video call and phone. As a relational integrative therapist I specialise in trauma, emotional healing, neurodivergent therapy and workplace support. Furthermore, I am a deeply introspective and spiritual person. It informs everything I do.  This enables me to be clear about who I am and what I have to offer.

As a supervisor, I aim to provide a safe and supportive relationship, which I tailor to meet the professional, developmental and relational needs and desires of the supervisee.
